The third trial for Alex Redhorse will hopefully be the last.

"That beautiful preserve because a scene of fire death and destruction,” said prosecutor Lyndy Bennett.

Redhorse is accused of killing Dustin Rye and Alec Armijo then burning their bodies in the Cibola National Forest in 2011.

Several witnesses from the first trial were in court today to testify, including the man who found the remains of the victims.

"There was a body that was lying face down arms and legs face down spread out," SAID witness Michael Gambill.

Both the first and second trial ended in a hung jury, but new testimony from Alex's brother, Anthony Redhorse, may be a game changer.

Anthony spoke in court today, but the jury was ordered out of the room first.

Anthony originally told police that his brother talked to him over the phone about the crime, but today he said Alex only talked to his father.

"Here's the reason the cops that day were very intimidating and I said that to my cops to so they would leave my dad alone," said Anthony Redhorse.

The defense argues that Anthony's testimony is hearsay and should be thrown out.

The judge will decide tomorrow morning whether he will allow the testimony.
