APS teacher under investigation

A Cibola High School teacher is on paid leave accused of inappropriately touching a student.

Antonio Ortega was arrested Thursday.

According to a criminal complaint, the student said she was in Ortega's classroom on the last day of school helping him record final grades. She said that's when he touched her inappropriately several times and made sexually suggestive comments.

The girl left the classroom, went home and told her parents, according to the complaint.

Albuquerque Public Schools is investigating.
