UNM's Mitch Garver and DJ Peterson were named to the Louisville Slugger All-America first team by Collegiate Baseball.

Peterson is the first 3-time All-American in UNM history.  Garver has now earned the honor twice.  Both were voted the Mountain West Co-Players of the Year for the second straight season.

Garver is hitting .387 and 7th in the nation with 92 hits.  Peterson is 2nd in the nation in both slugging percentage (.823) and total bases (172).  His batting average is .411, third in the country, with 18 home runs.

UNM is one of only three schools to have two players named to the first team.
