It's one train ride some Rail Runner commuters say has become unbearable because of a stench.
On Wednesday, 4 On Your Side jumped on board the 517 train after a tipster complained that the train stunk so bad they had stopped riding.
Immediately, we noticed a strong stench coming from a compartment that joined two Rail Runner cars that permeated through both decks of a passenger cabin.
Riders told us they have been complaining about it for days, and even though the smell was very noticeable, the stench was actually better than it had been in the past few days.
Rail Runner officials say they believe the smell comes from the train's sewage tanks that sit in extreme heat for a good part of the day near Santa Fe.
They say one reason why train 517 may be problematic is because most other trains are constantly on the move while 517 is stationary between runs.
Rail Runner officials say they are going to try to treat the septic tanks with special chemicals.
They tell us all of the tanks for all trains are dumped every day.
