Brendan Critzer, 9.

Less than an hour after Santa Fe police put out an alert for a missing developmentally disabled child, officers found the 9-year-old boy safe.

Brendan Critzer was reported missing early Thursday after he snuck out of his home on Pueblo Pintado. Police believed he was heading for the Santa Fe Rodeo Grounds since his family talked about going there the night before.

Brendan is developmentally disabled and his family said he has a tendency to hide under cars.

He was found safe just after 10 a.m.
