Controversy is swirling around a Santa Fe weekly newspaper cover.

Some Catholics are upset, saying the woman in the bikini on the cover of the Santa Fe Reporter strongly resembles the Lady of Guadalupe.

KOB Eyewitness News 4 showed the cartoon to people to see if they found it offensive. Christina Garcia said, "Fun in the sun. Is there controversy with it?" "I could see that a little bit but, uh I don't know, it doesn't bother me at all," Deandro Nevarez said.

The Santa Fe Reporter sent KOB a statement regarding the cover. They said the intent in the design was to incorporate an important part of Santa Fe's culture.
