Elephant Butte Lake State Park visitors are still cleaning up after powerful winds destroyed several trailers on Monday evening.

Wind gusts mangled around 10 campers and even sent some into the water.

Storm witnesses on an Elephant Butte Facebook page said they saw a funnel cloud and thought a tornado had touched down.

State police told KOB Eyewitness News 4 that no one was hurt in the storm.
