The New Mexico State Police dive team recovered two bodies from the west end of Quemado Lake on Wednesday.

As this time, police officials say they are awaiting positive identification by the New Mexico medical investigator's office.

Police had been searching for 16-year-old Seth Stephenson and 14-year-old Noah Hooper, who were last seen island hopping near the deep end of the lake on Sunday night.

The teens were on a trip with the Apache Deaf School and Youth Ranch as camp assistants.
