Hail storms ripped through parts of eastern New Mexico Wednesday night, covering Santa Rosa in two feet of hail.

One KOB Eyewitness News 4 viewer said his store, Fashion Factory, was one of several Santa Rosa businesses with severe window and roof damage. He also said St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church's stained glass windows suffered some cracks.

"It was amazing to witness in person," Michael Gallegos wrote. "It was something that I will never forget and I'm sure never see again."

While the severe weather slowed down drivers on I-40, New Mexico State Police said there were no reports of injury.

Moriarty, Clovis and Clines Corners also received paintball-sized hail.
