The Office of the Medical Investigator has confirmed the two bodies pulled earlier this week from Quemado Lake were two teens who were reported missing on June 30.

16-year-old Seth Stephenson and 15-year-old  Noah Hooper were assisting with a group from the Apache Creek Deaf and Mute Camp when they went missing at the deep end of the lake.

Divers from the New Mexico State Police found the two bodies within hours of each other on Wednesday.

Medical investigators are now trying to determine what caused their deaths.
