A youth pastor accused of having thousands of child pornography images on his computer returned to court Monday.

Derek Schwartzrock pleaded not guilty at his arraignment on May 1, but he appeared in court Tuesday for a change of plea hearing. He is expected to plead guilty.

Back in March, the former children's pastor at Evangel Christian Center was the focus of a Homeland Security Investigation. When authorities searched his apartment, they said they found more than 12,000 images of child exploitations and child erotica.

HSI would not confirm to KOB Eyewitness News 4 whether any of the children in the images found on Schwartzrock's computer were members of the Northeast Heights church he worked with.

If convicted, Schwartzrock faces up to 40 years behind bars.
