. ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - Albuquerque police say a deadly shooting at a business that purchases gold, silver, diamonds and jewelry may be related to a botched robbery attempt.

Officer Simon Drobik says detectives have been working through the night and early morning to determine what happened inside the National Jewelry Buyers business on the city's northwest side.

He says shots were fired inside the business Friday night and the clerk was killed.

The clerk's name has not been released.
