New Mexico prison guard arrested for aggravated DWI

A New Mexico prison guard was released from jail on Saturday after getting arrested in Las Vegas, NM.

Corrections Officer Pete Martinez was booked for an aggravated DWI.

Police say he was driving 63 miles an hour in a 40 mile an hour zone Wednesday night.

Martinez has since bonded out of jail.

The corrections department says Martinez has told them about the arrest.
