KOB Eyewitness News 4 told you about a flash flood warning for Santa Clara Pueblo earlier on Saturday.

The National Weather Service said a nine-foot wave of flooding was on its way to the area.

The stream gauge in Santa Clara Canyon rose roughly five feet in only five minutes.

The county sheriff says he does not expect major damage or to evacuate residents.

However, Highway 30 is a major concern.

Drivers are asked to use Highway 285 between Espanola and Pojoaque.
