Suspect sketch released in SW ABQ sexual assault case

Police have released a sketch of a suspect wanted for sexual assault in southwest Albuquerque.

The incident took place at the alleged victim's home in the area of Unser and Gibson SW. The woman told police she awoke in the middle of the night to find that the man entered her home through a window.

The suspect allegedly attacked, battered and sexually assaulted the woman.

The victim describes the suspect as a light-skinned Hispanic male with brown eyes and brown hair, a thin mustache and slender build. He also possibly had a scar or mark over his right eyebrow.

During the attack, the woman's dog may have bit the offender and he may have a minor wound visible on his arm.
