A major rain storm hit the Albuquerque metro area on Friday evening causing problems throughout the city.

PNM reported more than 27,000 customers were without power due to the storm.

As of late Friday night, Interstate 25 was shut down in both directions from Rio Bravo to the Big I due to downed power lines.

There were also reports of knocked out streets lights, debris and street flooding across the metro area.

The storm also caused the cancelation of country star Luke Bryan's concert at the Isleta Amphitheater.
