Drive-by shooter targets high school football stadium

Farmington police are still searching for the person responsible for a drive-by shooting at a high school football stadium on Wednesday night.

According to police, a blue car drove up to the Hutchinson Football Stadium around 9 p.m. and opened fire, striking the press box.

Several people were in the stands watching a team practice during the incident, but no one was injured.

At this time, police said they do not have any suspects. Anyone with information is asked to call the detective division at (505) 327-7701 or San Juan County Crime Stoppers at (505)-334-8477.
