A massive funnel cloud looming over Clovis gave residents a fright on Thursday.

The city was put under a tornado warning for 20 minutes after trained weather spotters reported funnels forming within the storm.

A tornado never touched down, but Clovis still got its fair share of severe weather. Egg-sized hail pummeled the eastern part of the city.

As of Friday morning, there are still no reports of injury or damage from the storm.
