Steven Seagal talks 'border security' at NM event

LAS CRUCES, N.M. (AP) - Marked for border protection?
    
Hollywood actor turned reserve sheriff's deputy, Steven Seagal, dropped by the New Mexico Sheriffs' Association Conference this week to talk about border security.
    
The action movie star says he wanted to share his knowledge about border security and often gives lectures on the subject.
    
Seagal was sworn in January as a reserve deputy sheriff for Dona Ana County in southern New Mexico.

He also is a reserve deputy in Maricopa County in Arizona and holds credentials in Hudspeth County in Texas.
    
The 61-year-old most recently starred in the Reelz TV drama "True Justice" about an undercover police team in Seattle.
