Week 1 standouts

Eldorado's Zach Gentry threw for 263 yards and two touchdowns in a 28-21 win over Atrisco Heritage.

Cleveland's Kian Homme threw two TD's, Jesse Nieto scored three times and MacKay Dunlap found the endzone twice, in the Storm's 42-20 victory over La Cueva.

Los Lunas quarterback Chris Sanchez threw for 298 yards and five touchdowns in the Tigers' 50-0 shutout over Aztec.

Grants quarterback Cassius Corley threw four touchdown passes, all to Jacob Wilcox, in a 39-21 win over Santa Fe.

Navajo Prep's Tyler Sorensen threw for 427 yards and six touchdowns a 50-0 win over Thoreau. 4 of his TD tosses went to Mika Mauga. Mauga totalled up 269 receiving yards and also added a fifth score running the football.

Valley's Bo Coleman and Aaron Molina connected on a last minute touchdown against Cibola to pull out a 33-31 win.  Coleman finished with 316 yards and four touchdowns.

Manzano's Angel Gonzales pulled off the same magic on opening night with a last-second touchdown when he connected with Josh Alvarez.  Gonzales finished with four touchdowns.

Las Cruces running back J.J. Granados scored three touchdowns in the Bulldawgs 56-14 win over El Paso Chapin.  Las Cruces racked up close to 300 yards rushing.

Onate's Isaiah Fielder finished with 165 yards rushing and two touchdowns in their 34-nothing shutout win over El Paso Bel Air.

Del Norte's Daryl Wiggins turned in a 278 yard, four touchdown stat line in a 41-21 win over Rio Grande.

Hope Christian quarterback Caleb Meyer-Hagen threw five touchdowns in a 56-18 win over Laguna Acoma.

Rio Rancho quarterback Easton Bruere threw for 209 yards and five touchdowns in a 59-14 victory over Highland.

St. Pius junior Jonathan Sanchez scored three touchdowns and racked up three sacks in a 42-0 shutout of Albuquerque High.
