ALBUQUERQUE -- An accused prowler is in critical condition after he was beaten in southwest Albuquerque early Thursday.

Albuquerque police dispatched officers to a neighborhood near Sage and Unser around 2:30 a.m. The homeowners told police a naked man was looking into their window, watching two teen girls inside the home.

Police said the girls' father and brothers ran after the suspect and got into a fight. The suspect was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

According to APD officer Tasia Martinez, the officers detained the three men responsible for the beating and will interview them today. Possible charges are pending at this time.
