FBI: Navajo Nation officers shoot man near NM-AZ border

WINDOW ROCK, Ariz. -- The FBI is investigating a shooting involving Navajo Nation officers near the New Mexico-Arizona border on Thursday night.

According to Manuel Johnson with the FBI Phoenix Division, the shooting involved a Navajo man who confronted officers with a gun. 

The condition of the man is unknown at this time, but the FBI said no one died in the shooting.

The investigation is ongoing. No further information was released.
