Police: Serial ATM robber caught in the act

The serial ATM robbery suspect accused of stealing thousands of dollars was finally caught by Albuquerque cops on Thursday night.

According to police, the suspect Tasered a man trying to deposit money at the Bank of America ATM on Juan Tabo and Montgomery.

Detectives working nearby responded to the scene and arrested 35-year-old Kelvin Dickerson in the intersection. A second female suspect driving a getaway vehicle was later arrested a few blocks away.

Police confirmed Dickerson is suspected of committing 11 ATM robberies around the city, stealing more than $16,000. He faces dozens of charges, including 11 counts of robbery with a deadly weapon. He will be arraigned on Saturday.
