SUNLAND PARK, N.M. (AP) - Dona Ana County officials are recommending that Sunland Park residents conserve water after a well within the city's service system failed.
Officials said Saturday that outages were reported and the well could be repaired by the evening.
No outages or pressure problems have been reported outside of Sunland Park.
In June, the shaft of the community's well was damaged following a power outage.
The Camino Real Regional Utility Authority provides water service for Sunland Park and most of the unincorporated areas around the Santa Teresa County Club and the Santa Teresa Port of Entry.
