Some tenants at a northwest Albuquerque apartment complex are worried their homes will be broken into because there are reports that the master keys have been stolen.

One victim filed a police report at the St. Anthony Apartments last week.  She told police she found a key left in her door, her apartment unlocked, and her purse missing.  That victim reported that the maintenance man told her several master keys have gone missing.

Management at St. Anthony says all the keys are accounted for, but another victim who watched her door unlock at 3 a.m. says she isn't buying it.

"It makes me feel really uncomfortable.  It makes me wonder who it is...how are they getting the keys...I don't know, it's just really intense," Theresa Hernandez said.

She says her safety latch is the only thing that kept her from coming face to face with burglars that night.
