Road closures due to flooding

Heavy rain and flooding across New Mexico has shut down several roads on Friday. To view road conditions and closures in real-time, visit www.nmroads.com.

Sierra County:

  • Highway 187 northbound and southbound is closed from mile marker 24 to 36.
  • Highway 51 eastbound and westbound is reduced to one lane due to heavy rainfall.
  • Road access restricted from 3rd Street through Williamsburg in T or C.

San Miguel County:

  • Highway 65 eastbound is closed at mile marker 12 to 27. There are no detours in this area.
  • Highway 283 eastbound and westbound is closed at mile marker 12.
  • Other road closures in Las Vegas include: Cinder Road, El Llano Road, Cunningham, El Camino, River Crossing by World College, Cabo Lucero Area, Abeytas, San Geronimo/Camp Bue Haven Area.

Santa Fe County:

  • Highway 63 closed north of Pecos at mile marker 15 to 24.
  • Highway 283 eastbound and westbound is closed at mile marker 12.
  • Highway 65 eastbound is closed from mile marker 12 to 27.1.

Eddy County:

  • Highway 249 eastbound and westbound is closed from mile marker 2 to 5.
