The American Red Cross in New Mexico has opened a shelter in Glenwood (Catron County) at the Glenwood Elementary School and a temporary evacuation center at the Glenwood Community Center.

The shelter at San Felipe Elementary School on San Felipe Pueblo is open again for evacuees from San Felipe Pueblo due to heavy rain and flooding last night.

The Roads to Glenwood have been closed due to the flood situation but are now open and a shelter operations team is on the way.

Damage Assessment is continuing in the Village of La Union in Dona Ana County.

The Red Cross is providing bulk water and drinking water supplies to La Union as the water system is out.

The Red Cross has opened a shelter in Grants at the First Baptist Church.

An additional shelter management team and trailer are also heading to Cibola County.

The Red Cross is also responding to a request for drinking water in Crownpoint and is en route with two pallets of bottled water.
