The Salvation Army says bottled water and construction-grade roof tarps are needed to help flooding victims and assist in the long-term recovery process.
Tarps will protect homes as rain continues to fall this week and some areas lack clean drinking water.
The organization is collecting these donations from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Salvation Army in Albuquerque, located at 4301 Bryn Mawr Dr. NE.
Monetary donations can be made by calling 1-800-725-2769 and asking to donate to "New Mexico Floods." Donations can also be sent by mail to: The Salvation Army, P.O. Box 94418, Albuquerque, NM 87199.
