Arenas Valley, Santa Clara areas evacuated due to flooding

Grant County Sheriff's officials tell KOB Eyewitness News 4 that homes in the Arenas Valley and Santa Clara areas are being evacuated due to flooding in the area.

Sheriff Raul Villanueva confirmed that between six to ten homes are being evacuated.

Water in the creek that runs though Santa Clara is six to eight feet high in some places. Some mobile homes cannot be reached.

One home in Santa Clara has a water break and gas leak. There are no reports of injuries.
