APD releases 2013 numbers on police activity around NM State Fair

Albuquerque – A week after the New Mexico State Fair ended its 2013 run the Albuquerque Police Department released a list with various totals for incidents in and around the fairgrounds.

According to Officer Simon Drobik multiple operations were conducted by APD to target criminal activity and improve the quality of life of attendees and residents at the State Fair.   

The numbers of this year’s suppression patrols, undercover operations and regular response operations resulted in:

  • 139 Citations
  • 7 Misdemeanor arrests
  • 13 Felony Arrests
  • 18 Misdemeanor warrants
  • 14 Felony warrants
  • 295 Citizen contacs
  • 29 Written reports
  • 3 Felony arrests
  • 2 Auto burglaries
  • 1 Felony larceny

Numbers from the New Mexico State Police have not been released yet but are expected this upcoming week.
