Police say an Albuquerque woman attacked an officer by spraying an aerosol can in the officer’s face.

The incident happened after the woman, Jacyln Williams, was already taken to jail on a burglary charge.

Williams reportedly stole from a Wal-Mart and was later arrested.

Police say she was able to free one of her hands after getting to jail.

That is when she was accused of attacking the officer.

Williams was re-arrested and charged with aggravated battery on a peace officer.
