Strong winds in the forecast spell trouble for Balloon Fiesta's Special Shapes Glowdeo on Thursday night.

KOB meteorologist Jorge Torres is predicting "Red Flag" conditions at Balloon Fiesta Park tonight, meaning balloon launches will be canceled.

A strong storm system from the west is producing powerful winds across New Mexico, including Albuquerque. Wind gusts up to 50 mph are possible in the area until 6 p.m. Also, low clouds and precipitation mean Red Flag conditions.
