Four Albuquerque firefighters were taken to the hospital after their truck was involved in a crash on I-40 westbound at Carlisle.

According to Albuquerque police, the AFD truck had responded to the scene of an accident when a passenger vehicle hit the back of the truck around 9:30 a.m.

Four firefighters and the driver of the passenger vehicle were taken to Loveless Hospital for evaluation. They have since been released.
