More contaminated gasoline is affecting drivers in the Four Corners.

Two women who filled up at a station in Kirtland New Mexico tell KOB it's been frustrating to say the least.

Just $20 of gas is costing Tina Gobie's family hundreds of dollars in repairs to their family vehicle."

"Now were stuck with a $732 bill," she said.

Tina went to this gas station on Tuesday, and the next morning, she couldn't get her vehicle to start. After taking it to the dealership twice, they finally figured out the problem.

"One technician says check the gas, they check it, sure enough there was water in there," said Gobie.

The same thing happened to Becky Crowe, with fuel from the same station.

She says her dealership found the gas in her car was 50 percent water.

"It's horrible it’s absolutely horrible it bad to be without a vehicle you depend on if you got appointment or any schedule it's chaotic and hectic," said Crowe.

But for Tina, it's more than a minor inconvenience. Her daughter has special needs, and without the family vehicle, she couldn't take her to school.

"I couldn't take her to school because what if she had a respiratory problem today, how would i get her if someone else took her to school."

Right now Tina and her family are hoping to get reimbursed but because she didn't get a receipt for her initial purchase, she's not sure if that's going to happen.

Tina says she plans to take out a loan to pay for the damages to her car.
