The Paseo/I-25 construction project is finally here.

Crews will put up barricades to get the project underway starting at 7 p.m. on Monday, but Tuesday is when the real work beings.

Drivers can start to expect lane closures and delays starting at 6 a.m.

Westbound Paseo will be down to two lanes just before I-25 to the railroad tracks. Jefferson will be down to one lane in each direction north of Paseo. The southbound frontage road will have various closures.

Also, the left lane at the northbound off-ramp at Paseo will be closed.

The project is expected to take up to two years to complete.
