An Albuquerque man says all of his retirement money has been stolen.

Craig Blanchard says he was storing $135,000 dollars in cash in his friend's garage.  He says he doesn't trust banks, and he thought his friend had an alarm system in the garage.

Sunday morning, his friend called detectives with the Santa Fe County Sheriff's Office to her home in Sedillo Hill.  Blanchard says the garage had been broken into and all of his money was gone.

Detectives told him there was no sign of forced entry into the garage.  Blanchard says he wonders how the thieves knew exactly where to look for a big payout.

"It just seems to me like somebody had to know.  The way it appeared, they wouldn't spend that much time in there digging through stuff without knowing it was there," Blanchard says.

Blanchard is offering a reward of 10% of the amount of money recovered.  If you have any information, call the Santa Fe County Sheriff's Office at 505-986-2455.
