They've been helping New Mexico's hungry for over 30 years and now they need your help.
Roadrunner Food Bank of New Mexico helps feed thousands of people every week. KOB Eyewitness News 4 learned almost half are kids.
About 40,000 people are fed with the help of the food bank; 40% are kids.
"They don't know how they're going to put food on the table," said Stephanie Miller who works at the food bank.
Stephanie Miller works at the food bank. She said donations have been steady lately, but the demand just keeps getting bigger.
One thing the food bank really needs right now are snacks for kids, especially in a state where New Mexico ranks first for child hunger.
"We definitely need peanut butter. [It's] an important item because it provides protein," added Miller.
