Shelter seeks information on emaciated dog

The Santa Fe Animal Shelter is offering a reward for information about an emaciate dog found in Pojoaque.

The shelter says a person walking their pet found the malnourished dog on Monday evening. The two-year-old mixed breed dog weighs only 49 pounds. The shelter says an average dog his size should weigh 75 pounds.

Anyone with information about the dog or its owner is urged to call the shelter at (505)-983-4309 extension 139.
