Albuquerque High School broke a state record Thursday night in its football ame against West Mesa. Unfortunately, it's a record they don't want.

The Albuquerque High Bulldogs had a pep talk Thursday from Super Bowl champ Tony Dungy, who was on campus for a previously scheduled promotion. But even an NFL coach couldn't get the Bulldogs over the hump.

Albuquerque High lost to West Mesa 41-20, extending the Bulldogs' losing streak to 38 games, a new state record.

The Bulldogs will have one more chance to try and snap the streak. Next Friday, they play Rio Grande. The Ravens are 1-7 this season.
