The New Mexico Lobo men's basketball team won its final warm-up before the start of the regular season.

The Lobos beat the Jamestown Jimmies 94-51 in a home exhibition game on Wednesday night.

Alex Kirk finished with 12 points and 10 boards, but the most surprising performance goes to the coach's son.

Freshman Cullen Neal, son of head coach Craig Neal, finished with 14 points, 7 boards and 4 assists.

It was Neal's first start as a Lobo.

All five Lobo starters finished in double figures.

The Lobos open the regular season at home against Alabama A&M on Saturday.
