Millions of dollars of federal funding is coming to help the Santa Clara Pueblo after 2012’s flooding.

$2.8 million is now available through the Public Assistance Grant Program.

The money will help install debris collection structures.

Flooding destroyed the pueblo between June and July of last year.

Multiple lawmakers then sent letters requesting help.

The pueblo also received federal funding last month for flooding that happened in September of this year.
