The New Mexico State men's basketball team defeated the Northern Colorado Bears 67-63 at the Pan American Center on Wednesday.

Daniel Mullings lead the way with 20 points as NMSU got its second home win of the season.

The Aggies only had a two point lead going into halftime, but NMSU went on a 12-4 run putting them up 48-40.

The Bears cut the lead to one with 42 seconds left, but Mullings made a three point play after getting fouled on a lay-up.

The Bears could not climb back.

The Aggies (4-1) will travel to El Paso to take on rival UTEP on Saturday.
