The winter weather has brought challenges for people driving and working in the snow.

The weather has arrived just in time for holiday travel.

Snow plows are out in full force, but some drivers still got stuck.

“I started driving 8 hours ago and I was trying to get down to tucumcari and I don't know if I'll be able to get down there today,” one driver said.

Windy weather knocked down a power line near Clines Corners, which closed Interstate 40 as crews fixed it up

KOB Eyewitness News 4 saw a long back up of cars down I-40 as they worked on the lines.

KOB talked to people as they waited.

“Were actually getting used to it, we were stopped last year trying to get through too... So were a little bit more relax this time, whatever happens happens,” driver Stephen Sellers said.

I-40 is back open.
