Broncos hammer Lobos in season finale

The New Mexico Lobo football team finished the season with a blow-out loss.

The Lobos fell on the road to the Boise State Broncos 45-17.

Broncos running back Jay Ajayi burned the Lobo defense with 252 yards of total offense and two touchdowns.

UNM running back Crusoe Gongbay was a bright spot with 77 yards rushing and a touchdown.

New Mexico gave up 180 points in its final three games.

The Lobos finish the season 3-9.

Bob Davie is now 7-18 in two full seasons as UNM head coach.
