A meeting between New Mexico State Police and Taos leaders has been rescheduled.

The meeting is in regards to a chaotic traffic stop in Taos.

The groups were supposed to meet Friday to talk about the situation that was caught on a New Mexico State Police officer’s dashcam.

The meeting is now scheduled for Friday December 13th.

Officer Elias Montoya is seen in the video shooting at the van occupied by a mother and her children.

Montoya was fired Friday.

Since his dismissal, a Facebook page in support of the officer has been created and a support rally has been organized for 11 a.m. on Sunday at the Taos Plaza.
