The New Mexico State men's basketball played a tough game against No. 1 Arizona, but the Wildcats were too much for the Aggies in the end.

The Aggies fell 74-48 to the Wildcats in Tucson.

The Aggies trailed 32-24 going into half-time, but Arizona blew open the second half and outscored the Aggies 42-24 the rest of the way.

Daniel Mullings scored 18 points and was the only Aggie to finish in double figures.

New Mexico State will play the Drake Bulldogs in Des Moines, Iowa on December 14th.
