Beginning January 13, ABQ RIDE will begin service to Atrisco Heritage Academy High School.

Route #198 will run weekdays, with its first run at 6:50 a.m. Two afternoon stops are scheduled, at 3:00 and 4:59 p.m.

"The community, the City, Albuquerque Public Schools and the state all came together to gauge interest and then make this modification of Route #198 a reality," said Mayor Richard J. Berry.  "It's a testament to how cooperation can get things accomplished."

The school will be served with a temporary stop on southbound 118th Street, approximately 150 feet from the intersection of 118th and Dennis Chavez. A permanent stop will be located on Dennis Chavez Blvd, east of the intersection.
