Albuquerque Police tell KOB Eyewitness News 4 that four vehicles were hit in Friday’s officer-involved crash on Interstate 25.

Nobody was sent to the hospital.

The crash started when one driver slammed on their brakes when traffic was stopped.

The driver rear-ended the person in front of them, which caused a chain reaction with a third driver.

A police officer was at the the tail-end of the crash.

APD tells KOB that the officer had nowhere to go and crashed.

APD has not said if anyone will face charges.
