For the third day, defense attorneys for Ronald Santiago called to the witness stand the daughter of the couple he's accused of murdering.

Renee Ohlemacher was cross examined by the defense Monday.

She was asked numerous questions about her money struggles.

There were also questions about her parents' near $500,000 life insurance policy.

The defense seemed to be suggesting Ohlemacher had her own motives for killing her parents, in order to cast reasonable doubt on Santiago, who is charged with the couples 2005 murder.

Ohlemacher was once considered a suspect in the murders, but was later cleared of involvement.

It will be up to law enforcement to determine whether anything she has said during testimony may warrant new charges.
