Santa Fe jewelry thief caught on camera

Santa Fe police need your help identifying a jewelry thief caught on camera at the Turquoise Butterfly.

The incident took place last Tuesday at the jewelry store on East Alameda Street in Santa Fe.  Surveillance video shows a man shoving some pricey items into his pocket. During the theft, he walks in plain sight of the security cameras multiple times.

Police said the man stole almost $1,900 worth of jewelry. Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at the 505-955-5050.
